Job Description

DKSH is seeking a results-driven Executive, Field Sales for our FMCG division in Johor Bahru. This is a strategic frontline role designed for high-potential sales professionals who excel at building strong retailer partnerships, driving product visibility, and delivering measurable volume growth across an assigned territory.

In this role, you will lead the end-to-end sales action plans for your territory, collaborate with distributors and key customers, and ensure that products are available, promoted, and positioned to win in highly competitive markets. You will work closely with marketing and supply chain teams to translate strategic objectives into executable field activities, monitor performance against targets, and continuously optimize routes to market. Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute structured sales action plans to achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly targets within the Johor region.
  • Build, maintain, and expand relationships with key retailers, distributors, and channel partners.
  • Monitor product availability, shelf presence, pricing, and promotional activities; ensure timely execution of POS materials and campaigns.
  • Identify new business opportunities, negotiate listings, and drive placement of new SKUs in assigned outlets.
  • Collaborate with marketing, supply chain, and trade marketing to optimize route-to-market strategies and promotional calendars.
  • Provide accurate forecasts, sales analytics, and timely reports to management; analyze market trends and competitive activity.
  • Deliver product demonstrations, trainings, and product knowledge sessions to customers and internal teams as needed.
  • Travel within Johor and adjacent markets as required to support sales objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; minimum 2-4 years of field sales experience in FMCG or consumer goods.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing market share in a competitive environment.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills; customer-centric mindset.
  • Ability to analyze data, draw insights, and translate into actionable sales plans.
  • Willingness to travel within Johor; valid driver’s license and reliable transport.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM tools.
  • Fluent in Malay and English; knowledge of additional local languages is a plus.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently as well as in a team.
