We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Executive, HR (FWM & L&D) to join our team in Bayan Lepas, Penang. This is a permanent, full-time position reporting directly to the Senior Executive, HR.
In this role, you will be instrumental in driving both factory workforce management (FWM) and learning & development (L&D) initiatives. You will support the entire employee lifecycle from onboarding to continuous growth, ensuring a high-performance culture that aligns with our organizational goals. Responsibilities
- Manage factory workforce operations including manpower planning, attendance, and shift scheduling to ensure optimal staffing levels.
- Design, implement, and facilitate learning and development programs to enhance employee skills and career progression.
- Coordinate onboarding and orientation for new hires, ensuring a smooth integration into the company culture and operations.
- Support performance management processes including goal setting, appraisals, and feedback mechanisms.
- Handle employee relations matters, providing guidance on company policies and fostering a positive work environment.
- Maintain accurate HR records and generate reports on workforce metrics, training effectiveness, and compliance.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify training needs and develop customized learning solutions.
- Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and wellness initiatives to boost morale and retention.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in HR, with exposure to workforce management and/or learning & development.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian labor laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact at all levels.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and deliver training sessions effectively.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
