As an Executive, Operations & Clearing Services, you will be the backbone of our derivatives trade lifecycle, ensuring seamless execution, clearing, and settlement for institutional and retail clients.

You will collaborate closely with brokers, counterparties, and clearing houses to manage trade give-ups and take-ups, reconcile positions, and resolve discrepancies. Responsibilities
- Execute trade give-ups and take-ups with external brokers and counterparties in accordance with exchange and clearing house rules.
- Monitor and reconcile trade confirmations, allocations, and settlement instructions across multiple derivatives products (futures, options).
- Liaise with front office, risk management, and clearing agents to resolve trade discrepancies and ensure accurate position records.
- Manage daily margin calls, collateral movements, and periodic expiry/assignment processes.
- Prepare and verify trade reports, regulatory filings, and transaction logs for internal and external audits.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce settlement risk.
- Support new product launches and system upgrades by participating in user acceptance testing (UAT).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in operations, clearing, or settlement within a financial institution (listed derivatives experience is highly preferred).
- Familiarity with Bursa Malaysia Derivatives (BMDR) rules and clearing workflows is an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail – ability to spot discrepancies under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookups) and experience with trading/clearing systems (e.g., GMI, Omgeo).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a high-pressure, time-sensitive environment.
