Responsibilities
- Perform accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimation for diverse building and construction projects.
- Lead the end-to-end tendering process, including preparing tender documents and conducting detailed cost analysis.
- Administer and manage contract documentation, ensuring compliance with project specifications and legal requirements.
- Monitor and manage project budgets, providing regular cost reports and variance analysis to the management team.
- Coordinate with sub-contractors and suppliers for quotation comparisons and claim verifications.
- Manage progress claims, variation orders, and final account settlements in a timely and professional manner.
- Implement effective cost control strategies to ensure projects remain within budget while maintaining quality standards.
Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in a Quantity Surveying role within the Singapore construction sector.
- Proficiency in standard construction software and Microsoft Office (Excel).
- In-depth knowledge of SIA/PSSCOC contract conditions and local building regulations.
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and negotiation skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary project team.
- Committed to meeting tight deadlines and managing multiple commercial priorities simultaneously.
