Based in Subang Jaya, Selangor, you will work with a team of logistics professionals to manage shipping documentation, customs clearance, and freight booking. Responsibilities
- Coordinate shipping schedules and ensure timely dispatch of goods in line with production and customer requirements
- Prepare and verify all shipping documentation including bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin
- Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers to facilitate smooth cargo movement
- Monitor import/export compliance with local and international trade regulations, including customs declarations
- Track cargo shipments and provide real-time updates to stakeholders
- Resolve shipping discrepancies, delays, and documentation issues proactively
- Optimize freight costs through negotiation and carrier selection
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, costs, and vendor performance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in shipping, freight forwarding, or international trade operations
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, customs procedures, and import/export regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and logistics software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder coordination
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple shipping priorities simultaneously
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in documentation
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia (additional languages are a plus)
