Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily maintenance and operational efficiency of dormitory and factory building facilities.
- Supervise external contractors and service providers, ensuring all work meets quality standards and contractual KPIs.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and areas for improvement.
- Ensure full compliance with local building regulations, fire safety standards, and environmental health requirements.
- Manage facilities-related documentation, permits, and work orders in a timely and organized manner.
- Coordinate with internal departments to address maintenance requests and emergency repairs promptly.
- Monitor utility consumption and implement cost-saving initiatives to optimize operational overhead.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Facilities Management, Building Services, Estate Management, or an equivalent engineering discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in facility management or building operations, preferably in an industrial or dormitory setting.
- Strong working knowledge of Singapore building codes and workplace safety and health (WSH) regulations.
- Proven ability to manage vendors and contractors effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and facilities management software or CMMS.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic work environment.
