Western Digital is seeking a detailâoriented Facilities Operation Manager to oversee all building operations, maintenance, safety, and vendor management for our stateâofâtheâart campus in Bayan Lepas, Penang. Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee daily building operations to ensure seamless facility performance.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for all building systems and equipment.
- Manage vendor contracts, negotiate service agreements, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Prepare and control facility budgets, monitor expenditures, and drive costâeffective solutions.
- Coordinate facility improvement projects from planning through execution, ensuring onâtime delivery.
- Ensure compliance with local safety codes, fire regulations, and environmental standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and champion energyâefficient practices.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to facility staff, promoting a culture of safety and excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Property Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities or building operations management.
- Proven track record in budget planning, cost control, and vendor management.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance systems, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problemâsolving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fastâpaced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Familiarity with ISO or other quality management systems is a plus.
