Responsibilities
- Assist the Category Management Officer in conducting comprehensive market and competitor analyses.
- Monitor vendor performance and identify opportunities for supply chain optimization.
- Gather and interpret customer feedback to refine category strategies and service delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of market pricing, competitor activities, and industry developments.
- Support the development of procurement strategies to improve farm operational profitability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline logistics and inventory management processes.
- Prepare regular reports and data visualizations to assist management in high-level decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in category management, procurement, or business analysis within the manufacturing or logistics industry.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data reporting tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail when managing market assessments.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priority tasks.
- Familiarity with agricultural supply chains or farm operations is a distinct advantage.
