As a Field Conductor, you will spend your time on-site, providing direct supervision to field workers and monitoring crop health. Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily field activities, including tapping, weeding, and manuring, to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.
  • Monitor the health and growth stages of rubber trees and report potential issues or pest infestations promptly.
  • Manage, instruct, and motivate field work teams to ensure daily output targets are met safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of field activities, daily output, and worker attendance for management reporting.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure safety compliance and estate maintenance standards.
  • Coordinate the supply and distribution of essential tools and fertilizers to field workers.
  • Assist in the implementation of new agricultural techniques to improve yield and sustainability.

Qualifications

  • Minimum SPM or Diploma in Agriculture, Plantation Management, or a related field.
  • At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in a plantation or estate environment.
  • Strong physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and communicate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Basic understanding of rubber tapping techniques and plantation safety regulations.
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Possess a valid motorcycle license and own transportation for ease of movement within the estate.
