Join Pelican Distribution, Inc. as a Field Sales Representative and play a key role in expanding our van selling footprint across the Zamboanga Peninsula. This role is ideal for motivated sales professionals who enjoy fast paced, on the road work and who excel at building lasting relationships with customers. You will manage daily van selling routes, ensure timely product deliveries, and consistently hit or exceed sales targets through proactive account management and compelling product presentations.
As a frontline ambassador for our brands, you will plan routes, negotiate with customers, and collaborate with operations to maintain accurate stock levels and on time replenishments. You will leverage product knowledge to upsell and cross sell, while tracking performance metrics and reporting insights to the sales leadership. Responsibilities
- Manage daily van selling routes within the assigned territory to maximize reach and revenue.
- Present Pelican products, demonstrate features, and upsell to customers during visits.
- Build and maintain relationships with retailers and on site buyers to ensure ongoing demand.
- Coordinate with logistics to ensure accurate stock levels and timely deliveries.
- Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and contribute to revenue growth.
- Collect customer feedback, monitor market trends, and share insights with the Sales Manager.
- Maintain clean and accurate customer records in the CRM and provide regular sales reports.
Qualifications
- 1 year or more of field sales, route selling, or FMCG experience preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship building skills.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned region; valid driver license may be required.
- Self motivated and able to work independently with a results driven mindset.
- Basic math and cash handling skills; comfortable using a CRM system.
- Bachelor or equivalent work experience preferred.
