Responsibilities
- Perform installation, configuration, and commissioning of GE Healthcare medical equipment at customer sites.
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance, inspections, and performance verification to ensure equipment reliability.
- Diagnose and repair system faults swiftly, minimizing downtime and adhering to service level agreements.
- Maintain accurate service records, parts usage, and activity reports in the companyâs CMMS.
- Provide technical guidance and training to hospital staff on equipment operation and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with sales and application teams to support product demonstrations and solution selling.
- Ensure compliance with local regulatory standards, GE Healthcare policies, and industry best practices.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, sharing field feedback to influence product design and service processes.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelorâs degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 3 years of handsâon field service experience in the healthcare or medical equipment industry.
- Proven expertise in servicing imaging modalities (e.g., Xâray, ultrasound, MRI) or comparable diagnostic systems.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities; comfortable interacting with clinical staff and hospital administrators.
- Willingness to travel within the Central Region and occasionally nationwide as required.
- Valid driverâs license and a clean driving record.
- Certifications from GE Healthcare or OEMs (e.g., CT, MRI, ultrasound) are advantageous.
