Responsibilities
- Perform on‑site installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software solutions for enterprise clients.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network, server, and end‑user device issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance and system upgrades to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement IT projects and coordinate client deployments.
- Document technical procedures, service reports, and inventory records in compliance with company standards.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff and end‑users as needed.
- Manage spare parts and equipment logistics to support efficient field operations.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in field service, IT support, or similar technical roles.
- Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems, as well as common networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Hands‑on experience with hardware installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of servers, routers, and switches.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel within Singapore and occasionally abroad; a valid driver’s licence is an advantage.
- Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, ITIL, or Microsoft are a plus.
