Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts safely to move, stack, and retrieve various industrial materials and products.
- Load and unload delivery trucks and shipping containers with high precision and care.
- Perform routine pre-operational safety inspections and basic maintenance on forklift equipment.
- Organize warehouse inventory to maximize space utilization and maintain a tidy work environment.
- Assist in the picking and packing of orders to meet daily shipment deadlines.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation for accuracy.
- Follow all company safety protocols and contribute to a hazard-free workplace.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to streamline logistics workflows and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Forklift Driver, preferably in a manufacturing or logistics setting.
- Possess a valid Forklift Operator's license or certification.
- Deep understanding of warehouse safety regulations and industrial best practices.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 20kg and working in a non-temperature controlled environment.
- Excellent spatial awareness and coordination for navigating tight warehouse aisles.
- Strong punctuality and a reliable attendance record.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills for inventory tracking and report filling.
- A positive attitude and the ability to work effectively within a diverse team.
