Recruit Now is currently looking for a dedicated and safety-conscious Forklift Driver to fill a key position within a leading manufacturing and logistics facility in the Pioneer Crescent, West Region of Singapore.
In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts to transport, load, and unload goods throughout the warehouse. You will play a critical role in ensuring that the supply chain operations run smoothly and efficiently. The position offers a stable 5-day work week schedule, providing a great work-life balance while offering ample opportunities for high overtime to boost your monthly earnings significantly.
You will work closely with warehouse supervisors, production staff, and logistics coordinators to meet daily operational targets. Your commitment to safety and precision will help maintain a hazard-free environment and high inventory accuracy.
We offer a competitive base salary ranging from $2,200 to $3,200 per month, in addition to overtime allowances. This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity with a fast hiring process for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts (counterbalance, reach, or manually operated) to move, stack, and load goods efficiently.
- Perform routine safety checks and basic maintenance on forklifts before operation.
- Load and unload cargo from delivery trucks and shipping containers.
- Manage warehouse inventory by organizing stock in designated locations (racking, floor stock).
- Adhere to strict health, safety, and environmental (HSE) guidelines and 5S standards.
- Coordinate with team members and supervisors to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, reporting any hazards or malfunctions immediately.
- Contribute to meeting daily production and logistics targets.
Qualifications
- Possession of a valid Forklift Driving License (e.g., WSH ACOP, SITCAR, or recognized equivalent).
- Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience operating forklifts in a busy warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision and handle physically demanding tasks (standing, lifting up to 20kg).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and public holidays when required.
- Immediate availability or short notice period is highly advantageous.
