What you will do:
- Inspect incoming fruit for quality and freshness; sort by type and size
- Pack and label produce with accuracy, following FIFO (first-in, first-out) guidelines
- Maintain neat, sanitary packing areas and comply with food safety standards
- Prepare product for display and transport, including carton packing and stacking
- Assist with inventory checks and stock rotation
- Report discrepancies or damaged items to supervisors promptly
- Assist teammates to meet daily packing targets while upholding safety
Qualifications:
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift moderate loads
- Attention to detail and accuracy in labeling and packing
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
- Basic math and counting skills; comfortable with simple documentation
- Experience in food packing or manufacturing is a plus, but not required
- Team player with good communication and safety awareness
- Willingness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced grocery environment
