Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager of Operations to lead our Integrated Facility Management (IFM) and Service division in Jakarta. This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving operational excellence, strategic growth, and client satisfaction across multiple facility management contracts.

As the General Manager, you will oversee end-to-end operations, manage a diverse team of professionals, and ensure all services are delivered in compliance with SLAs, quality standards, and HSE regulations. Your strategic vision will shape the direction of the business, optimizing processes, reducing costs, and increasing profitability while maintaining the highest level of service.

Our ideal candidate brings 10–15 years of progressive experience in IFM, with a proven track record of managing large-scale facilities, complex service portfolios, and cross-functional teams. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic operational plans to achieve company goals and client satisfaction.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of all IFM contracts, including cleaning, security, maintenance, landscaping, and catering services.
  • Manage and mentor a team of department heads, supervisors, and frontline staff to ensure high performance and professional growth.
  • Establish and monitor service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing concerns and identifying upselling opportunities.
  • Prepare and manage operational budgets, control costs, and drive profitability through efficient resource allocation.
  • Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations, conducting regular audits and risk assessments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Facility Management, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 10–15 years of experience in Integrated Facility Management (IFM) operations, with at least 5 years in a senior managerial role.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale facility contracts (multisite experience is an advantage).
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to influence and motivate teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of HSE standards, local regulations, and best practices in facility management.
  • Proficiency in facility management software (CAFM/IWMS) and MS Office Suite.
  • Certifications such as IFMA (CFM), BIFM, or similar are highly desirable.
