About the Role:
As a General Worker, you will be the backbone of our daily operations. You will perform a variety of manual and support tasks focused on keeping our facility running safely and efficiently. Your typical day may involve assisting with the loading and unloading of raw materials and finished goods, maintaining a clean and organized workspace according to strict standards, and actively supporting the broader operations team in meeting production targets. Responsibilities
- Perform manual handling and transportation of raw materials, equipment, and finished goods within the facility.
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of the brewery, including cleaning, sanitizing, and preparing equipment for production runs.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and organization in all work areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Support the logistics team in loading and unloading delivery trucks, verifying shipment quantities, and organizing inventory.
- Operate basic machinery and hand tools under supervision, following standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Participate in quality control checks and report any discrepancies or defects to the supervisor immediately.
- Collaborate effectively with team members from diverse backgrounds to ensure smooth workflow and meet production deadlines.
- Adhere strictly to all workplace safety rules, company policies, and hygiene standards.
Qualifications
- Possess at least a Primary/Secondary School/SPM / O Level in any field.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, logistics, or brewery environment is an added advantage, but fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks, including lifting heavy loads (up to 25kg) and standing for extended periods.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English, Mandarin, and Malay (verbal and written).
- Willingness to learn new skills and undergo training in brewery operations.
- Responsible, punctual, and possesses a positive working attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be willing to work in Kuching, Sarawak.
