In this pivotal role, you will be the heartbeat of our production floor, ensuring that our operations run seamlessly while upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
As our Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between strategic production targets and day-to-day execution. You will lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse team to achieve daily output goals while maintaining strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and HALAL certification protocols. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet established output, quality, and efficiency targets.
- Ensure full compliance with GMP, HALAL, and internal safety regulations across all production shifts.
- Lead and mentor production staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor manufacturing processes to identify bottlenecks and implement effective solutions to enhance productivity.
- Maintain precise and comprehensive production documentation, including batch records and quality logs.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure all equipment is maintained and operated in accordance with SOPs.
- Manage inventory levels of raw materials and packaging supplies to ensure uninterrupted production flow.
- Drive quality control initiatives to reduce wastage and minimize product non-conformance.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Food Technology, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience in a supervisory role within a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment.
- Solid understanding of HALAL compliance standards and quality management systems.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse operational team.
- Excellent attention to detail, particularly in documentation, reporting, and process auditing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with inventory management software is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to operational challenges.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
