Responsibilities
- Operate various Ground Support Equipment (GSE) including airtugs, tractors, and specialized servicing vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Perform essential aircraft ground servicing tasks, including water and lavatory replenishment, in accordance with airline protocols.
- Conduct thorough pre-operational checks on all machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.
- Coordinate with ground crew and airside traffic control to facilitate smooth aircraft arrivals and departures.
- Maintain strict adherence to airport safety regulations and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Report any mechanical issues or maintenance requirements to the workshop team immediately.
- Ensure the cleanliness and integrity of airside workspaces during operations.
Qualifications
- Minimum GCE 'N' or 'O' Level, or a Nitec/Higher Nitec certificate in a technical or logistics discipline.
- Must possess a valid Singapore Class 3 driving license (Class 4 is a significant advantage).
- Comfortable working rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays, to support 24/7 aviation operations.
- Strong commitment to safety and situational awareness in a high-traffic environment.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work effectively in an outdoor, weather-exposed environment.
- Good communication skills with the ability to follow technical instructions precisely.
- Previous experience in airport ground handling or heavy vehicle operation is highly preferred.
