As Head of Automobile Financing, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives that drive growth in our vehicle financing portfolio. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including sales, risk management, credit operations, and marketing to ensure operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic business plans for the automobile financing portfolio to achieve growth targets
- Lead and mentor a team of sales and operations staff to ensure consistent performance and professional development
- Establish and maintain partnerships with automotive dealers and financial institutions to expand distribution channels
- Monitor portfolio performance metrics and implement corrective actions to maintain healthy asset quality
- Ensure compliance with Bank Negara Malaysia regulations and internal policies in all financing operations
- Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to develop competitive financing products
- Collaborate with credit and risk teams to establish appropriate lending criteria and approval processes
- Prepare reports for senior management regarding portfolio health, market developments, and strategic recommendations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field; MBA preferred
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in banking or financial services, with at least 5 years in leadership roles
- Proven expertise in automobile financing or consumer lending operations
- Strong understanding of credit risk assessment and portfolio management principles
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities for stakeholder management
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive business results in competitive markets
- Familiarity with Malaysian banking regulations and financial services industry trends
