Siemens Energy is seeking a strategic and experienced Head of Finance to lead the financial operations for our Grid Technologies Substations division across the Asia Pacific and China region. Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team of finance heads across Asia Pacific and China, fostering professional development and strategic alignment
  • Oversee all financial operations including planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis for the Grid Technologies Substations division
  • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with regional business objectives and corporate goals
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal controls across all operating entities
  • Partner with regional and global leadership to drive business growth, cost optimization, and operational efficiency
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks while implementing robust governance frameworks
  • Lead financial due diligence and evaluation of strategic investments, partnerships, and project opportunities
  • Coordinate with global finance teams to ensure alignment with corporate standards and best practices

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA, CPA, or CFA qualification preferred
  • Minimum 15 years of progressive finance experience with at least 7 years in senior leadership roles within the Asia Pacific region
  • Proven track record managing finance operations across multiple countries in Asia Pacific or China
