As the Head of IT, you will be responsible for aligning technology investments with corporate goals, evaluating emerging technologies, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and data protection standards. You will lead initiatives that enhance customer experience, streamline operations, and create scalable platforms for property listings, transaction management, and smart building integration. Your leadership will foster a culture of continuous improvement, mentorship, and crossâfunctional collaboration, positioning the organization at the forefront of Proptech innovation.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the IT strategy aligned with the companyâs Proptech vision and business objectives.
- Lead the design, implementation, and management of enterpriseâwide infrastructure, including cloud services, networks, and data centers.
- Oversee cybersecurity programs, ensuring protection of sensitive data and compliance with PDPA and other regulations.
- Direct software development lifecycle for Proptech platforms, promoting agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for technology services, hardware, and software licences.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives, such as AIâpowered property analytics, IoT integration for smart buildings, and customerâfacing mobile applications.
- Mentor and develop a highâperforming IT team, fostering skill growth and a culture of innovation.
- Provide regular reporting to executive leadership on IT performance, risk management, and ROI of technology investments.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
- Proven track record in driving digital transformation within technologyâfocused or Proptech companies.
- Deep expertise in enterprise architecture, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and cybersecurity frameworks.
- Strong background in software development, DevOps, and agile/scrum methodologies.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with ability to communicate technical concepts to nonâtechnical audiences.
- Experience managing budgets, vendor contracts, and largeâscale IT projects.
- Certifications such as TOGAF, CISSP, PMP, or AWS/Azure Solutions Architect are a plus.
