Dynamic Human Capital Pte Ltd is seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our healthcare team in Sengkang. In this full-time role, you will provide essential patient care in wards and emergency settings, supporting registered nurses and clinical staff to ensure safe, compassionate, and efficient patient experiences. As a key member of the care team, you will help with daily patient support tasks, infection control, and maintaining a clean, safe clinical environment. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about frontline patient care and are able to work in a fast-paced hospital setting. You will collaborate with nurses to monitor patient conditions, assist with personal care activities, transport supplies, and document relevant information in patient records. The position may involve rotating shifts to cover day and night operations, including weekends, in line with hospital needs. Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) under supervision, ensuring comfort and safety.
- Support nurses and clinicians in ward and emergency department settings.
- Monitor and report changes in patient conditions, including vital signs as trained.
- Help with patient hygiene, mobility, oral care, and mobility aids.
- Prepare and maintain patient rooms, ensure clean environments and infection control practices.
- Transport supplies, equipment, and specimens as required.
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records under supervision.
- Provide compassionate communication with patients and families, addressing questions and concerns.
Qualifications
- Relevant healthcare qualification such as WSQ Healthcare Support, NITEC in Healthcare, or equivalent.
- Prior experience in hospital wards or clinical care is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment, including shifts and weekends.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or AED certification preferred; additional certifications a plus.
- Commitment to infection control, hygiene, and safety protocols.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions from licensed healthcare professionals.
