As an intern, you will assist in first aid response, health screening programs, maintenance of medical records, and contribute to health & safety initiatives. Responsibilities
- Assist in providing first aid and basic medical care to guests and staff as needed
- Support health screening and wellness check activities for visitors
- Maintain and update patient records and medical documentation
- Help manage the clinic’s inventory of medical supplies and equipment
- Participate in health & safety inspections and risk assessments
- Coordinate with resort departments on emergency preparedness drills
- Prepare health education materials and assist with wellness campaigns
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Nursing, Medicine, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, or related health science field
- Basic understanding of medical terminology and clinical procedures
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, guest-oriented environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Must be able to commit to a minimum of 3 months internship
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting (clinical rotation or volunteer work) is an advantage
