Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic HR Admin Manager who is fluent in Mandarin to join our growing team at Private Advertiser, a leading player in the advertising industry located in Iskandar Puteri, Johor. Reporting to the HR Director, you will partner with department heads to drive recruitment efforts, manage performance appraisal cycles, and maintain accurate employee records. You will also be responsible for coordinating employee benefits, handling grievances, and implementing HR policies that align with both organizational goals and statutory requirements. Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily HR administrative functions, including employee onboarding, offboarding, and record‑keeping.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle: job posting, candidate screening, interview coordination, and offer management.
  • Administer employee benefits, leave entitlements, and payroll-related HR queries in accordance with company policy.
  • Serve as a Mandarin‑speaking liaison for employees and external partners, ensuring clear communication and cultural sensitivity.
  • Support performance management processes, including goal setting, appraisals, and feedback sessions.
  • Ensure compliance with Malaysian employment laws, updating HR policies and procedures as needed.
  • Coordinate employee engagement activities, training programs, and wellness initiatives to boost morale and retention.
  • Maintain HRIS data integrity, generate reports, and assist in HR analytics for informed decision‑making.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3‑5 years of HR administrative or generalist experience, preferably in a corporate or advertising setting.
  • Fluency in both English and Mandarin (spoken and written) is required.
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian labour laws, employment standards, and HR best practices.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, or local HR software) and MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust across diverse teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
