We are currently seeking a talented and dedicated HR Manager to join our team in Bayan Lepas, Penang. As HR Manager, you will be responsible for leading the full spectrum of HR activities. Your duties will include talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, compensation and benefits administration, training and development, and compliance with local labor laws. You will work closely with business leaders to understand their goals and provide strategic HR support. Key areas of focus include developing and executing HR strategies that support business growth, driving talent management initiatives, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. You will also manage a team of HR professionals, promoting collaboration and high performance.
To succeed in this role, you must have strong leadership capabilities, a deep understanding of HR best practices, and the ability to drive change. You should be proactive, solution-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills. A bachelor's degree in HR or related field, along with 6-8 years of HR experience (including 2+ years in a managerial role) is required. In addition, you should have a thorough knowledge of Malaysian employment legislation and HR compliance. Professional HR certification is a plus.

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the end-to-end HR function, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and offboarding.
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with overall business objectives.
- Oversee compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and compliance.
- Manage employee relations, handle grievances, and foster a positive workplace culture.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations in Malaysia.
- Drive training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and career growth.
- Manage HR reporting and analytics to support data-driven decision making.
- Coach and mentor HR team members to promote professional development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- In-depth knowledge of Malaysian labor laws and HR best practices.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to handle complex employee relations issues.
- Strategic thinking with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
