Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding qualified candidates for various positions
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices in compliance with Malaysian labor laws and regulations
- Manage employee relations, addressing workplace concerns, and maintaining positive employer-employee relationships
- Oversee performance management systems and coordinate training and development programs for staff growth
- Handle payroll administration, benefits management, and ensure accurate record-keeping in accordance with statutory requirements
- Partner with department heads to forecast workforce needs and support strategic workforce planning
- Conduct regular workplace audits and implement corrective actions to maintain a safe and compliant work environment
- Drive employee engagement initiatives and foster a positive organizational culture
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
- Comprehensive knowledge of Malaysian employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices
- Strong proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion
- Demonstrated experience in recruitment, training, and performance management
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced industrial environment
- Professional HR certification (e.g., IPMA-HR, MIHRM) would be an added advantage
