Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs and policies.
  • Conduct regular workplace inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, preparing detailed reports and recommending corrective and preventive actions.
  • Coordinate and deliver EHS training programs to employees and contractors, promoting a strong safety culture.
  • Monitor and analyze EHS performance data, preparing reports and dashboards for management review.
  • Maintain and update EHS documentation, including procedures, manuals, and records, ensuring alignment with ISO 45001 and 14001 standards.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities and external auditors during inspections and certification processes.
  • Support emergency response planning and conduct drills to ensure organizational preparedness.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety and Health, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an HSE role, preferably within manufacturing, logistics, or facility management.
  • Certification in Occupational Safety and Health (e.g., NIOSH, DOSH Green Book) is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian EHS regulations and international standards (ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and EHS management software.
