Responsibilities
- Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs and policies.
- Conduct regular workplace inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, preparing detailed reports and recommending corrective and preventive actions.
- Coordinate and deliver EHS training programs to employees and contractors, promoting a strong safety culture.
- Monitor and analyze EHS performance data, preparing reports and dashboards for management review.
- Maintain and update EHS documentation, including procedures, manuals, and records, ensuring alignment with ISO 45001 and 14001 standards.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and external auditors during inspections and certification processes.
- Support emergency response planning and conduct drills to ensure organizational preparedness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety and Health, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an HSE role, preferably within manufacturing, logistics, or facility management.
- Certification in Occupational Safety and Health (e.g., NIOSH, DOSH Green Book) is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian EHS regulations and international standards (ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and EHS management software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.
