Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end monthly payroll process for a diverse employee base, ensuring 100% accuracy and timeliness.
  • Handle all payroll-related data entry, including new hires, resignations, salary adjustments, and benefits calculations.
  • Calculate and process statutory contributions (CPF, SDL, FWL) and government claims (NS pay, maternity/paternity leave, etc.).
  • Prepare and generate monthly payroll reports, variance analyses, and management summaries for review.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for payroll-related inquiries, resolving discrepancies and addressing employee concerns with professionalism.
  • Ensure full compliance with the Employment Act and internal company policies regarding compensation and benefits.
  • Maintain up-to-date personnel records in the HR Information System (HRIS).
  • Assist in year-end tax reporting activities, including IR8A preparation.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in payroll processing or HR operations.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
  • In-depth knowledge of the Singapore Employment Act and CPF submission requirements.
  • Experience with HRIS or payroll software is highly preferred.
  • Excellent numerical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive employee data.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with staff at all levels.
