In this role, you will be the backbone of our people operations, ensuring that our HR processes are not only efficient but also compliant with Malaysian labor regulations.
As the HR Executive, you will manage the full employee lifecycle—from attracting top talent through strategic recruitment to overseeing onboarding, payroll administration, and maintenance of sensitive HR records. You will act as a bridge between management and staff, fostering a positive workplace culture and ensuring clear communication across all departments. Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, screening, and interview coordination.
- Oversee the seamless onboarding and offboarding experience for new and exiting employees.
- Maintain and update comprehensive employee records in compliance with data privacy regulations.
- Administer monthly payroll processes, ensuring accuracy in attendance tracking and statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB).
- Provide expert guidance to management and employees on labor laws, company policies, and best practices.
- Facilitate internal communications and organize employee engagement activities to boost morale.
- Handle workplace grievances and disciplinary issues with high levels of confidentiality and professionalism.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an HR generalist or executive role.
- Strong working knowledge of the Malaysian Employment Act and local labor regulations.
- Proficiency in HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on problem-solving and conflict resolution.
