Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end airfreight forwarding operations for import and export shipments, ensuring timely delivery.
- Prepare and verify all shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading, Commercial Invoices, and Packing Lists.
- Coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and internal teams to resolve shipping issues and delays.
- Liaise directly with customers to provide accurate updates on shipment status and track cargo movements.
- Ensure strict compliance with local and international customs regulations and shipping policies.
- Analyze shipping rates and routes to optimize costs and improve operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and prepare regular operational reports.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in airfreight forwarding, logistics, or customer service.
- Strong understanding of import/export procedures, Incoterms, and shipping documentation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
- Proficient in using logistics software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant certification in logistics or freight forwarding is a distinct advantage.
- Familiarity with Singaporean regulatory requirements is preferred.
