Responsibilities

  • Welcome and assist walk-in customers in the showroom, providing expert advice on lighting and home improvement products
  • Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable solutions to meet their needs and budget
  • Process sales transactions accurately and handle cash or card payments
  • Maintain showroom cleanliness and ensure product displays are organized and visually appealing
  • Follow up with potential leads and existing customers to build lasting relationships and drive repeat business
  • Assist with inventory management, including stock checks and replenishment
  • Collaborate with the sales team to achieve monthly targets and contribute to a positive work environment

Qualifications

  • Minimum SPM or equivalent; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Prior experience in retail sales or customer service is an advantage but not mandatory
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is a plus
  • Strong willingness to learn about lighting and home improvement products
  • Proactive, friendly, and able to handle multiple tasks in a busy showroom
  • Basic computer literacy (POS system experience is a bonus)
  • Must be willing to work retail hours including weekends and public holidays
  • Applicants must be based in or willing to relocate to Ipoh, Perak
