Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive system analysis and design to meet organizational business requirements and goals.
- Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot information systems, web applications, and databases to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with government stakeholders and department heads to gather requirements and implement technical solutions.
- Perform data analysis and generate reports to support decision-making processes within the province.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and confidentiality of government records and systems.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users regarding software applications and systems.
- Monitor system operations and perform routine maintenance to prevent downtime and ensure reliability.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend improvements to existing systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Analysis, or a related field.
- At least 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in system analysis, software development, or IT support.
- Strong proficiency in database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and query languages (SQL).
- Familiarity with web development technologies such as PHP, Java, or .NET.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Must be a Filipino citizen or have the legal right to work in the Philippines.
