Responsibilities
- Support the payroll team with data entry, calculation checks, and validation of employee hours.
- Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS system, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Assist in preparing payroll reports, including earnings, deductions, and tax withholdings.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payslip information, deductions, and benefits.
- Help monitor compliance with Malaysian labor laws and internal policies.
- Participate in HR projects aimed at streamlining payroll processes and improving efficiency.
- Collaborate with the HR Services team to support ad-hoc tasks and special initiatives.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a diploma/degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of payroll concepts and Malaysian employment regulations is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables) and other Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail, numerical aptitude, and ability to handle sensitive information.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English; Bahasa Malaysia is an advantage.
- Self-motivated, eager to learn, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
- Availability to commit to a full-time internship for at least 3-6 months.
