Levent Corporation Sdn Bhd is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Intern Procurement to join our dynamic team in Alor Setar, Kedah. As an Intern Procurement, you will play a vital role in supporting our procurement department with various tasks including sourcing of materials, processing purchase orders, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure smooth operations. This position offers valuable exposure to real-world procurement processes and supplier relationship management.
You will work closely with our procurement team to assist in maintaining inventory levels, preparing documentation, and learning about cost-effective sourcing strategies. This internship is designed to provide comprehensive training in procurement software, supplier negotiations, and quality control processes.
Ideal candidates should be currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma or degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related fields. Responsibilities
- Assist in sourcing materials and evaluating supplier proposals to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness
- Support the processing and tracking of purchase orders from initiation to delivery
- Coordinate with suppliers to resolve issues, track shipments, and maintain good relationships
- Maintain accurate procurement records, documentation, and filing systems
- Assist in monitoring inventory levels and preparing reports on stock requirements
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma or degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for effective supplier interaction
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Eager to learn, proactive approach, and genuine interest in procurement processes
