Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues escalated via the ticketing system.
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and upgrading of IT equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance on network infrastructure including switches and routers.
- Document incidents, solutions, and procedures in the knowledge base.
- Support IT asset management by updating inventory records and tracking equipment lifecycles.
- Participate in project work such as deploying new workstations and testing backup solutions.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely resolution of user requests and continuous service improvement.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware components and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Familiarity with networking fundamentals such as IP addressing, DNS, and DHCP.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication abilities, both written and verbal, for interacting with end-users.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of ticketing or helpdesk software (e.g., Zendesk, Freshservice) is a plus.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing priorities.
