In this role, you will serve as the primary steward of our inventory integrity, ensuring that our control procedures are strictly followed and company assets are protected at all times.
As an Inventory Officer, you will play a critical role in our supermarket operations. You will be responsible for overseeing stock movements, auditing inventory levels, and implementing security protocols to minimize shrinkage and maximize efficiency. Responsibilities
- Monitor and record daily inventory levels to ensure accurate stock balances.
- Implement and enforce internal control procedures to safeguard company assets.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical inventory audits as scheduled.
- Analyze stock discrepancies and investigate the root causes of variances.
- Prepare comprehensive inventory reports for management review.
- Collaborate with the logistics and procurement teams to streamline replenishment processes.
- Ensure all store operations comply with company safety and inventory policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or retail operations is a strong advantage.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management software.
- High level of integrity and commitment to organizational security protocols.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to perform under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or shifts as required by retail operations.
