Responsibilities
- Oversee daily inventory operations including receiving, storage, and dispatch activities
- Implement and maintain inventory control systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Lead and mentor inventory teams through performance management and training initiatives
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies with financial records
- Optimize stock levels to prevent overstocking or stockouts while minimizing carrying costs
- Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to align inventory strategies
- Generate and analyze inventory reports to support operational decision-making
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company policies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in inventory management or warehouse supervision
- Proven leadership skills with ability to manage and motivate teams
- Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, WMS)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of inventory control methodologies (FIFO, cycle counting, etc.)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
