In this critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing warehouse inventory accuracy, optimizing storage protocols, and ensuring seamless operational flow within our cold storage facilities. You will lead a team of warehouse personnel to maintain the highest standards of safety, compliance, and efficiency. Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end inventory management, including receiving, storage, and dispatch of temperature-sensitive goods.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure 99% accuracy against system records.
- Supervise, train, and mentor warehouse staff to maintain operational efficiency and safety protocols.
- Monitor cold storage temperatures and facility conditions to ensure product integrity.
- Generate comprehensive inventory reports and reconcile discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with logistics and sales teams to optimize warehouse space utilization.
- Enforce strict adherence to food safety, HACCP, and occupational health and safety standards.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure operational equipment is functioning at peak performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or logistics, preferably in a cold storage or food/beverage environment.
- Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
- In-depth knowledge of inventory audit procedures and supply chain best practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Willingness to work in a cold chain environment and adapt to flexible shift schedules.
- Proven track record of improving warehouse processes and inventory accuracy.
