Probe CX is seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Cyber Security Officer to join our growing team in Eastwood, Metro Manila. As an IT Cyber Security Officer, you will lead efforts in threat detection, vulnerability management, and security architecture review. You will also develop and enforce security policies, conduct regular risk assessments, and ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO 27001 and NIST. Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents and alerts in real time.
- Implement and manage security tools including firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and SIEM solutions.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify potential risks.
- Develop, review, and enforce cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures.
- Coordinate with IT teams to ensure secure configuration of systems and networks.
- Perform risk assessments and gap analyses to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Deliver security awareness training and phishing simulations to employees.
- Document security incidents, investigations, and remediation actions for reporting and improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 3-5 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, preferably in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of network security, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and cloud security (AWS/Azure).
- Experience with security tools such as Splunk, Palo Alto, CrowdStrike, or equivalent.
- Relevant certifications: CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
