Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues in a desktop support environment.
  • Manage and maintain the organization's computer systems, including desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
  • Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems and software applications for end-users.
  • Respond to and resolve helpdesk tickets and user inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of system issues, repairs, and asset inventory in the IT management system.
  • Perform routine system maintenance, updates, and backups to ensure data integrity and system stability.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to implement new technologies and improve existing IT infrastructure.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist, Helpdesk Technician, or Desktop Engineer.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11) and proficiency in troubleshooting hardware components.
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies and remote desktop tools is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric approach to service delivery.
