Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Engineer to join our dynamic team at HKSM Sports Sdn Bhd. In this critical role, you will act as the key contact for material control related to new and change orders, ensuring seamless planning and fulfillment of material requirements to support uninterrupted operations. You will leverage your technical expertise to optimize IT systems, manage data integrity, and drive efficiency in our supply chain and production processes. Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary IT liaison for material control, overseeing system management for new and change orders.
- Plan and monitor material requirements using enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems to ensure on-time fulfillment.
- Develop and maintain IT solutions to track inventory levels, order status, and production schedules.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues affecting material planning, procurement, and warehouse operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (procurement, production, logistics) to streamline data flow and reporting.
- Implement and enforce data governance policies to maintain accuracy of material master data.
- Generate regular reports and dashboards on material availability, consumption, and order status for management.
- Support system upgrades, integrations, and user training related to material control modules.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in an IT engineering role, preferably in a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and material planning modules.
- Proficiency in SQL, data analysis, and reporting tools (Power BI, Excel).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of inventory management principles and order fulfillment processes.
- Malaysian citizenship or valid work permit for Penang.
