Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality technical support to end-users, investigating and resolving hardware, software, and network connectivity issues promptly.
- Perform regular maintenance and monitoring of servers, workstations, and peripheral devices to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Manage the installation, configuration, and upgrading of company-wide software applications and operating systems.
- Oversee the company's internal network security, including firewall management, antivirus updates, and user access controls.
- Implement and manage robust data backup procedures and disaster recovery plans to safeguard company information.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for the procurement of IT equipment and specialized technical services.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets and document all technical procedures and system configurations.
- Provide training and guidance to staff members on the effective use of IT resources and cybersecurity best practices.
Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in IT support, system administration, or a similar capacity.
- Solid understanding of Windows Server environments, Microsoft 365, and networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Hands-on experience with hardware troubleshooting, including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia to interact effectively with all levels of staff.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Prior experience with ERP systems or industrial software solutions is highly advantageous.
