Responsibilities
- Manage, monitor, and maintain the company's and clients' IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, workstations, and associated peripherals.
- Provide prompt and effective technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Implement and enforce robust cybersecurity measures, including firewall configurations, antivirus management, and data protection protocols.
- Perform regular system backups, data recovery procedures, and develop disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
- Assist in the procurement, installation, configuration, and upgrading of IT hardware and software across various environments.
- Document IT processes, procedures, system configurations, and inventory for efficient knowledge management and compliance.
- Collaborate with third-party vendors and service providers for IT support, maintenance, and new technology implementations.
- Participate in IT projects, from planning and execution to post-implementation support, contributing to system enhancements and innovations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of proven experience in an IT support, system administration, or IT Executive role.
- Solid understanding of operating systems (Windows Server, desktop Windows, Linux is a plus) and network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Hands-on experience with network infrastructure components (routers, switches, firewalls) and server hardware maintenance.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide clear technical guidance to non-technical users.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
