Responsibilities
- Develop and implement IT governance frameworks aligned with COBIT, ISO 27001, and other industry standards
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations, privacy laws, and regulatory requirements
- Establish and maintain comprehensive IT policies, procedures, and documentation standards
- Conduct regular risk assessments and compliance audits across IT systems and processes
- Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to integrate governance requirements into projects and operations
- Monitor and report on IT compliance metrics, identifying areas for improvement
- Provide expert guidance and mentorship to IT teams on governance best practices
- Prepare and present compliance reports to executive leadership and board members
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in IT governance, risk management, or compliance roles
- Professional certifications such as CISA, CISM, CRISC, or CISSP preferred
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory frameworks and governance best practices
- Strong understanding of risk management principles and methodologies
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive compliance initiatives
- Experience with GRC tools and MS Office applications
