Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for web and mobile applications.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using industry-standard bug-tracking tools.
- Perform rigorous regression testing to ensure that system updates do not impact existing functionality.
- Collaborate closely with software developers and project managers to identify, replicate, and resolve technical issues.
- Conduct functional, smoke, and user acceptance testing (UAT) phases to validate business requirements.
- Maintain detailed documentation of testing results and provide regular status reports to stakeholders.
- Provide critical feedback on product requirements and design specifications to ensure overall testability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in software quality assurance or a similar technical role.
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
- Effective communication skills for reporting bugs and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with bug-tracking tools such as JIRA or Trello and basic knowledge of SQL is preferred.
