Responsibilities
- Provide first-line technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network issues via phone, email, or in-person.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and network equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure including servers, switches, routers, and firewalls to guarantee high availability and security.
- Assist in the deployment and integration of new technology solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
- Document technical procedures, system configurations, and troubleshooting guides for knowledge sharing.
- Perform regular system backups, updates, and patch management to safeguard data integrity.
- Collaborate with vendors and service providers for escalated technical issues and procurement of IT assets.
- Train end-users on best practices and new software tools to promote self-sufficiency and productivity.
Qualifications
- College graduate with a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or system administration roles.
- Solid understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems, Office 365, and common business applications.
- Hands-on experience with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and hardware (routers, switches, firewalls).
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently under minimal supervision.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to support non-technical users effectively.
- Knowledge of IT security best practices and data backup procedures is a plus.
- Must be willing to work in Makati City and open to shifting schedules if required.
