Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network-related issues to all employees.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other IT peripherals.
- Offer specialized technical assistance for gaming systems, consoles, and related software, ensuring optimal performance.
- Support and troubleshoot office productivity suites (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace), email clients, and collaboration tools.
- Diagnose and resolve basic network connectivity issues, including Wi-Fi, LAN, and VPN problems.
- Document all IT support requests, resolutions, and procedures accurately in the help desk system.
- Conduct routine system checks, updates, and preventative maintenance to ensure smooth and secure IT operations.
- Assist with IT asset management, including inventory tracking, procurement, and decommissioning of equipment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (1-3 years) in an IT Support, Help Desk, or Technical Support role.
- Strong understanding of Windows and macOS operating systems, as well as common office applications.
- Basic knowledge of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and network troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with or strong interest in supporting gaming hardware and software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong commitment to customer service.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation) or a Bachelor's degree in IT/Computer Science is a plus.
