Responsibilities
- Take ownership of maintaining and enhancing existing enterprise systems built in Kotlin
- Understand and improve current application architecture to meet business requirements
- Develop and implement new features using Java Enterprise Edition technologies
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and product management
- Document technical specifications and maintain comprehensive codebase knowledge
- Contribute to technical decisions and architectural improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience
- Strong proficiency in Java Enterprise Edition (J2EE) and object-oriented programming
- Experience with Kotlin is an advantage; familiarity with modern development practices
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies
- Understanding of RESTful API design and microservices architecture
- Experience with relational databases and SQL
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
