As part of our IT infrastructure team, you will work alongside seasoned DevOps engineers to ensure high availability, security, and performance of our containerized clusters. Responsibilities
- Assist in the deployment, management, and scaling of Kubernetes clusters across hybrid-cloud environments.
- Monitor cluster health, resource utilization, and performance metrics to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Troubleshoot container and pod-level issues, analyzing logs and metrics to identify root causes.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize Dockerfiles and Kubernetes manifests for efficiency.
- Participate in the implementation of security best practices, including RBAC, network policies, and secret management.
- Maintain technical documentation for cluster configurations, deployment workflows, and operational procedures.
- Support the automation of infrastructure tasks using scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Go.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- 1+ years of experience in systems administration or a DevOps-focused internship.
- Foundational knowledge of Kubernetes architecture, including nodes, pods, services, and namespaces.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and container runtime environments.
- Basic understanding of Linux system administration (RedHat/CentOS preferred).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or ArgoCD.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills and a desire to learn complex cloud infrastructure.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CKA or CKAD) are highly desirable but not mandatory.
